Wordless Wednesday - Bald Eagle

Welcome back for Wordless Wednesday!

I was able to get a couple of great shots of a Bald Eagle at Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina.

(The animals they have are unable to live in the wild due to injury.)

  3. What was wrong with the Eagle? He looks great, but usually they don't spend much time near the ground, so obviously he is there for a reason.

    Beautiful bird.

  4. For some reason I keep mistaking hawks for eagles. Both are uncommon nonetheless.

    1. I find it harder to identify them in the air. When we were at the beach recently, I thought a hawk was diving into the ocean to get fish...it was an osprey. Silly me.

  5. It's nice that they keep the injured birds, they do that at our zoo too. :)

You did get a great pic!
