Wordless Wednesday - Barred Owl

Welcome Back for Wordless Wednesday!

Photo credit goes to my husband! (He did use my camera, through the windows!)   :)

This Barred Owl decided to come check out our back deck.

(Yes, those are the Christmas lights still ready for use....)

Oh, and my dear daughter named him FREDERICK.

Stop back by on Friday for Photo Tip Friday on taking pictures in low lighting, Part 2!

Join the party with LINKY below and Happy Wordless Wednesday!

  1. What beautiful photos.

I heard a barred owl in our yard for the first time last night, but couldn't see him. Fascinating creatures.

    Was this one wild?

    1. We had a hawk land on our swing once. We live in an old neighborhood. I think these birds were her before us! Maybe you'll get lucky one day and see something special!

      Thanks for dropping by!

    1. It was such a treat to see this one. He watched my husband walk from room to room as he went to go get the camera.(You can see into our house from the deck) He was a pretty smart owl.

    1. LOL!

My hubby is an engineer. He definitely knows all the technical stuff. He taught me what it all meant to start with.

Now I'm teaching him to be artistic! ;) We make a good team.

  12. Wow, that is so cool! I would be giddy with excitement if I saw an owl on my back deck. I've only seen them in zoos. Never out in nature like that!
