Welcome back for Wordless Wednesday!
I was able to get a couple of great shots of a Bald Eagle at Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina.
(The animals they have are unable to live in the wild due to injury.)

DeleteGreat pics -- love the bottom one!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Isn't it an elegant bird?
DeleteWow, fantastic photos. I saw bald eagles in Alaska a few months ago. They were amazing.
ReplyDeleteI bet that was awesome! I'd love to go to Alaska one day.
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Enjoy your vacation!
DeleteWhat was wrong with the Eagle? He looks great, but usually they don't spend much time near the ground, so obviously he is there for a reason.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bird.
Thanks Sheryl. Loved your tea party shots!
DeleteHave a great day!
For some reason I keep mistaking hawks for eagles. Both are uncommon nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteI find it harder to identify them in the air. When we were at the beach recently, I thought a hawk was diving into the ocean to get fish...it was an osprey. Silly me.
DeleteIt's nice that they keep the injured birds, they do that at our zoo too. :)
ReplyDeleteYou did get a great pic!
Thanks Rosey!
DeleteThey are such magnificent birds, great shots!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenn! Hope you feel better!
