Great captures!
ReplyDeleteThanks Deborah! It was so much fun to see them playing.
DeleteYou have a great eye!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alissa! And I have a pretty good telephoto lens. I took these from the shore!
DeleteWell caught! I've never seen dolphins in the wild :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika! I was so used to seeing dolphins on nature show in the warm waters of the world, that I was surprised to see them in North Carolina. :)
DeleteWow, I've never seen wild dolphins! Awesome.
ReplyDelete:) Glad to share!
DeleteWe have a knack for finding dolphins any time we are near water. Capturing them on film is another matter. A bit like the whales that refused to play the game and we kept missing photographing them, and would just end up with a big splash.
ReplyDeleteYou have to learn to anticipate the movements. I took quite a few "misses" to get some good ones! We definitely never see whales in our neck of the woods. But a great white made the news recently in North Carolina for attacking a swim instructor. I grew up here and have never ever heard of a great white off our coast. Hope you get some whale shots!
DeleteThat dolphin is posing for you!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Wordless Wednesday: How I Spent My Summer Vacation.
Isn't he cute???
DeleteYou might be the fastest shot in the (mid) west! I have a recent litany of critters my camera missed. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL. I did take a lot of shots to get some good one! Digital is relatively free...take more shots than you think you need and delete the bad ones!
DeleteLooks like they're having tons of fun! We get them playing in the little inlets where we go at Sargent (Texas).
ReplyDeleteThey truly are playful. We watched them for quite some time and they were having fun....

ReplyDeleteIt was exiting. We were on the shore on some stairs. It took a few of us to track them!
